Fascinating! One more thing that Oregon is famous for. I am a native Oregonian, and now before I die, and because of your article, I think I’d like to visit this area. I realize it may not be much to look at, beings that most of it is underground, but as a photographer, perhaps I could get a few decent above-ground shots of various part of this critter that I could then use to share the story with my granddaughters, and any others interested in same.
