Doug Greenwold of Preserving Bible Times addresses how to make Jesus “3D”…

Comments

  1. I thoroughly enjoyed the discussion of Jesus in “3-D” as it were, and what it means to be a disciple of Jesus, to submit to and emulate Him in our lives by the power of the Holy Spirit, and when we fall short of the qualities of a disciple to pray for and receive these graces from the Holy Spirit. I wondered though, as to what the specific eight characteristics of a first-century disciple were, since these were alluded to by Doug in passing.

    • Dora, among these characteristics are …Desire, Submission, Emulation, Community, Passion, and Repentance. I suggest we ask Doug to elaborate on this topic when he joins us again next Wednesday morning during our 8:00 hour (CST). If you are unable to catch the live broadcast, the interview will then become available in the Audio Archives to listen to when convenient. Also, I may be able to find a link on the Preserving Bible Times web site that will provide a more complete answer for you.
