I guess the point that I’m skeptical about is the lack of (scientific studies) proof that the genetically engineering corn, for instance, by itself, without taking ’round-up’ into consideration, is causing sickness, disease, cancer, birth defects, etc. It IS disturbing to me to hear about genetic alterations, especially the mixing of human or animal genetic material with plant genetics. Everything that’s in me screams that this is not right and has the potential to be very dangerous.
Kris, just wait til you hear about “Frankenfish” …genetically engineered salmon, coming to the grocer nearest you soon. We’ll discuss that next Monday (January 14th).
