Thanks for your work presenting the evidence for a young earth as well as challenging the paradigm of evolution.
A strong argument I came across in support of these goals was provided by the work of Jeffrey Tompkins from Back to Genesis. His work consisted of an analysis of publicly available DNA sequence data on chimp DNA in comparison to human DNA. He challenges the methods used to to arrive at ~ 98.5 % correspondence between human and chimp DNA. This figure, if true would support an evolutionary link with chimps as well as provide a reasonable time scale for the evolution of humans over a 3-6 million year time period. The BTG work by comparison arrived at a correspondence of 81-86% correspondence in DNA (meaning no closer than what you might predict for a “banana”, my words. Subsequent work by Dr. Richard Buggs provided an 86.5% correlation between chimp and human DNA in exact agreement with later work by Tompkins. Other work by N.Z. Kronenberg, Science, 360, (6393) 2018 provided further support for this analysis.Since the claimed ~ 99% correspondence between human and chimps provides a powerful argument for an evolutionary link this work on the part of BGE and Buggs, (a secular scientist), is strong evidence against an evolutionary link and by implication an old earth.
This information leads one to wonder exactly what degree of correlation marks the point of departure. How subjective …or how objective …might this manipulation of the numbers actually be. If is sounds “scientific”, is it necessarily so? Thanks for your comment!
